Silhouette Curio 2

Precise cutting of various materials

Curio 2 allows you to cut designs from:

• paper up to approx. 300 gsm;
• self-adhesive vinyl for stickers
• heat transfer vinyl for garment decoration;
• cutting printed designs using the Print & Cut function. This opens the door to projects such as greeting cards, toppers, boxes, place cards, stickers, and decorative elements.

Electrostatic platform – no mat required

The unique electrostatic platform allows thin materials to be held in place without using a sticky mat. This makes delicate sheets, such as tissue paper or decorative paper, easy to cut precisely without the risk of damage.

Versatile tools (optional)

Curio 2 can be expanded with various tools (sold separately), allowing you to do more than just cutting:

• Embossing - creating textured patterns on paper and foil;
• Foil stamping - elegant decorations and metallic designs;
• Engraving - decorating thin materials such as acrylic or metal sheets;
• Punching leather and faux leather - creating holes for rivets or stitching;
• Drawing with pens - automatic sketching and calligraphy;

Software and operation

The plotter works with the free Silhouette Studio software, which:

• allows designing your own patterns,
• supports raster formats (.png, .jpeg, etc.),
• provides access to ready-made designs in the Silhouette Design Store,
• is available in Polish
  
  

There are also Designer and Business Edition versions with support for additional file types and advanced features for professional users or businesses. Connection is via USB or Bluetooth – simple and cable-free.

Designer Edition

Allows importing files in formats .gsd, .dxf, .svg, and .pdf. It also offers more advanced tools for vectorization, editing designs, and organizing fonts into folders. Enables creating guides and layers. It can be installed on three devices and supports one plotter.

This version allows opening vector files created in external graphic software or Canva.

Business Edition

Offers features useful for small businesses, such as operating up to three Silhouette plotters from a single computer. Supports additional file formats .dst, .exp, .jef, .xxx, .ai, .eps, .cdr. It also allows exporting files in .svg, .pdf, .jpeg formats. Additionally, it enables automatic creation of weeding lines for easier vinyl removal.
