xTool S1 Engraver 40W

Large working area

The machine features a large working area (608x385 mm), allowing convenient cutting and engraving of larger projects. This also lets you complete multiple smaller projects at once, saving time and increasing efficiency. The precision positioning system ensures accuracy even with small items.

Software

xTool S1 is operated using the intuitive xTool Studio software, which ensures a smooth workflow. With access to hundreds of ready-made designs and intelligent features such as auto-focus and snapping, using the device is easy and intuitive. Beginners will appreciate the automatic focus function, while advanced users can benefit from compatibility with LightBurn for professional work.
The plotter is equipped with a dynamic focusing system that adjusts focus to uneven surfaces, ensuring perfect engraving results. A single click in the XS software is enough to automatically set the focus, eliminating the need for manual adjustment.

Honeycomb panel

The honeycomb panel, thanks to its unique structure, allows for much better air circulation during material cutting. In practice, this means less heat buildup around the material, minimizing burn marks on edges. Cutting becomes cleaner and more precise, especially for materials prone to browning or burning due to high temperatures—such as plywood. This ensures your projects look perfect, without unsightly marks or damage.

Air pump

The included pump delivers 25–30 L/min of air directly to the cutting area—effectively cooling the material and reducing burn marks, especially on plywood.A steady, strong airflow removes smoke and debris from the cutting line, not only speeding up the process but also increasing laser penetration. The lenses stay clean longer—significantly reducing cleaning frequency and the risk of damage. This lowers the operating costs of your plotter.

You can purchase a riser for the xTool S1, allowing processing of items up to 125 mm in height. This lets you create personalized boxes, crates, and many other projects.

After purchasing the riser, you can use the rotary module, also available in our store, which allows engraving on cylindrical and rounded objects. The rotary module includes components for processing mugs, thermoses, spherical objects, cylinders, as well as rings and bracelets.

The machine allows cutting paper, wood, leather, MDF, felt, and engraving on a wide range of materials—from wood and stainless steel to treated glass and ceramics.

The optional 1064 nm infrared laser module ensures precise engraving on metals such as gold, silver, aluminum, or brass (sold separately).

The plotter is designed with user safety and health in mind. Thanks to its enclosed housing and built-in flame detection systems, as well as automatic shutdown when the cover is opened, the device is extremely safe to use. You can also use the emergency stop button at any time.

Proper ventilation is essential when cutting and engraving with a laser. This can be achieved by placing the exhaust pipe into a dedicated ventilation outlet.

If you cannot vent fumes outside the room, you can purchase the dedicated manufacturer filter xTool Safetypro AP2 with replaceable filters. It is a great solution that allows you to work even in a home environment.
