Print To Cut for Brother CanvasWorkspace

The Print To Cut add-on for Brother SDX plotters allows you to generate markers in the program and print them. Then, before cutting, the plotter will read the markings from the sheet and cut the patterns following the contour or other designed shape. This is a physical product, sent in the form of a card.

Application: Entering the code in CanvasWorkspace unlocks an additional option - generating cutting marks. Then, after selecting this option, small, dedicated markers in the form of 3 circles and lines will be added to the corners of the sheet during printing. After reading the markers, the plotter will be able to precisely cut the printed patterns along the contour.

Using the Print To Cut option, you can significantly speed up your work with a Brother plotter, especially if you cut repetitive patterns. Design the outline shape once in CanvasWorkspace and send it to the plotter. Then, after reading the markers, it will be automatically aligned with the pattern and cut out. You can design the pattern based on graphics added in the program and position it precisely. Cut the graphics along the contour or in any selected shape to create unique stickers, pendants or vignettes.

Printing in a printing house
You can export the graphic file to a PDF file and print it in a professional printing house to obtain high quality and vivid colors of the elements in your project. Then use the created outline of the elements and cut them out on your home plotter.
