The replacement Standard Blade for Brother SDX plotters allows you to achieve excellent cutting results when the original blade supplied with the plotter has already worn out.

To install the blade in the plotter, an automatic holder for a standard blade is required. It is not included with the product.

The standard Brother SDX blade allows you to cut in many different materials with a thickness of 0.1 to even 3mm (depending on the material). With its help, you can cut, among others, in paper, foil, creative foam or foamiran.

The interchangeable blade must be used with an automatic holder, making it easier than ever to adjust settings for different materials. Simply mount the blade in the holder and then place it in the plotter. Brother SDX will measure the thickness of the material itself and select the best parameters for the depth of extension and the pressure!

The blade is a standard plotter consumable item that wears out during cutting. The blade should be replaced when the cut loses its accuracy. This can manifest itself as torn edges of the paper when cutting or material not cut through.

Thanks to the replaceable blade, you can restore your plotter to perfect cutting precision. Thanks to the construction of the blades used in Brother plotters, only the blade is replaced. However, you do not have to replace the holder that fixes the blade in the plotter.
