Cricut Explore 3 plotter and foil cutting

The new Cricut models have been expanded with the option of cutting foil without using a mat up to 3.5 m in length. This way you can quickly and conveniently cut all backing materials (Cricut Smart Materials). You can use self-adhesive foil (Oracal) to create personalized stickers for walls, windows, shop windows, home decorations or balloons. However, using flex or flock foil, you can decorate fabrics with iron-on transfers with your desired pattern.

Additionally, you can purchase a dedicated foil feeder for the plotter, which allows you to use rolls up to 22.8 m long. The feeder also has a built-in foil cutter that allows for even cutting of the material after cutting.

Cricut Explore 3 plotter and scrapbooking

The Explore 3 plotter can also cut paper up to approx. 300-320 g using a plotter mat. In this case, the cutting area is 30 x 30 cm or even 30 x 60 cm (depending on the size of the mat). The plotter also has the ability to cut printouts thanks to the Print Then Cut option.

Some printers may have difficulty selecting print quality using Print Then Cut. Cutting the print with a maximum format: 17.1 x 23.5 cm. You can also add a unique character to your works thanks to the option of sketching with markers.
