Silhouette AutoBlade (type B)

Silhouette AutoBlade type B is compatible with new generation plotters. Perfect for cutting many materials, including basic ones: paper up to 300g, various types of foil - vinyl, flex and flock, creative foam, good quality felt and foamiran (up to 1mm thick) and tattoo material. After placing the blade in the device, it will be automatically detected by the software, and after sending the task to the plotter, it will automatically set the knife extension on a 10-degree scale, according to the settings selected in Silhouette Studio. With the automatic setting of the blade extension, cutting various types of materials that require different settings will be simple and fast.

How to use the AutoBlade:

• Place the blade in the carriage (for Cameo plotters, place the blade in carriage number 1)
• Press the latch to secure the blade
• In Silhouette Studio, when the design is ready to be cut, select the cut settings appropriate for the material
• The blade will be detected and set automatically according to the settings in the program
• Send the task to the plotter

When to buy a new cutting blade:

• the cut is inaccurate, jagged
• there is a need to significantly increase the pressure and extension compared to the settings we used at the beginning of using the blade
• the blade has been mechanically damaged
