Description

The Kraft Blade can be used on the new generation Silhouette plotters - Cameo 4, Plus and PRO, Cameo 5, Curio 2. It has a longer blade that allows you to cut even thicker materials up to 3mm thick. The cutting process with this blade is different than cutting with a manual or automatic blade. To cut through thick material, it is necessary to make several passes with different blade extension and pressure settings. The first pass should be done with very little extension and pressure. For subsequent passes, the parameters should be gradually increased until satisfactory results are obtained. Never set the blade extension higher than the material thickness!

Designed for cutting in SOFT MATERIALS UP TO 3 MM:

Foamiran (3mm)
Creative foam (3mm)
Acetate sheets (1mm)
Balsa up to 1mm thick
Magnetic foil (1mm)

SmartCut technology

The Cameo 4 plotter has a sensor that recognizes the tool inserted into the holder. When using Rotary Blade and Kraft Blade, the Smart Cut option will be automatically enabled to cut with these tools.

The new Silhouette blades rotate under pressure. This means that in order to cut the angle, an additional path is required to allow the blade to rotate.

COMMENTS:

It is not recommended to cut pieces smaller than 1 cm to avoid cracking the material or damaging the blade.
For the correct operation of the tool, it is first of all necessary to update the firmware and software for the latest version.
