Description

Set of five Silhouette automatic blades compatible with next-generation cutting plotters – Portrait 3 and 4, as well as Cameo 4, Plus, Pro, Cameo 5, Plus and Curio 2. By purchasing the blades as a set, you receive an attractive discount while stocking up on spare blades for the coming months.

The Silhouette automatic blade is suitable for cutting a wide range of materials, including basic ones such as paper up to 300gsm, various types of vinyl – adhesive, heat transfer (flex and flock), craft foam, high-quality felt and foamiran (up to 1mm thick), as well as tattoo paper. After placing the blade in the machine, it will be automatically detected by the software, and once the job is sent to the plotter, the blade extension will be set automatically on a 10-level scale according to the settings selected in the program. Thanks to the automatic blade adjustment, cutting different types of materials that require varied settings is simple and fast.

How to use the automatic blade:

Insert the blade into the holder (for Cameo plotters, place the blade in holder number 1)
Press the latch to secure the blade
In Silhouette Studio, once your design is ready to cut, select the appropriate cut settings for your material
The blade will be detected and automatically adjusted according to the settings in the program
Finally, send the job to the plotter

When to purchase a new cutting blade:

When the cut becomes inaccurate or jagged
When it becomes necessary to significantly increase the pressure and blade extension compared to the settings used at the beginning of the blade’s lifespan
If the blade has been mechanically damaged
