Silhouette Kraft Blade - 2mm - 2 pcs

The 2mm Kraft Blade is a specialist blade designed for cutting thicker materials with Silhouette plotters. The package includes two blades, which provides convenience and a reserve for longer work.

What is the Kraft Blade used for?

The Kraft Blade allows you to cut materials that a standard automatic blade cannot cut. With a length of 2 mm and a special design, it can handle harder and thicker materials such as creative foam and foamiran, highly compressed, stiffened felt or acetate sheets.

Examples of materials that can be cut with the Kraft Blade:

• Felt (heavily compressed, up to 2 mm thick)
• EVA creative foam
• Ecological leather
• Fabrics with stiffening (e.g. non-woven fabric)
  

Smart Cut Technology

Silhouette plotters have a sensor that allows them to recognize the tool inserted into the holder. When using a rotary blade and Kraft Blade, the Smart Cut option will automatically be turned on, allowing you to cut with these tools. The new Silhouette blades rotate under pressure. This means that in order to cut an angle, an additional path is necessary to allow the blade to rotate.

NOTES:

• It is not recommended to cut pieces smaller than 1 cm to avoid cracking the material or damaging the blade.
• For the tool to function properly, first of all it is necessary to update the firmware and software to the highest version.
