MOTHERS DAY - CARD TEMPLATE
Mother's Day is fast approaching so in today's post we have prepared for you a free pattern for a card to celebrate this upcoming holiday. The card measures 13,5 x 13,5 cm and its main decorative element is a shaker with the inscription cut from black foil. You can enlarge or reduce the size of each element if desired.

Cut out all the elements in the pattern from the appropriate papers.
After cutting out, proceed to gluing the card together. Fold the base of the card along the lines. Glue on it a larger square cut from gold paper and then a smaller one from decorative paper.
Now it's the shaker's turn.
Start by cutting a heart shape from foil, which will be the shaft of the shaker , adhere the heart frame from kraft paper and cut along the outer edge.
Next, make a transfer of the inscription cut from the foil to our cut "glass" of the shaker. Now it's the "sandwich"'s turn.
Glue the pieces together in the following order:
3 kraft paper heart frames,
glue the foil with the inscription
the last kraft heart frame
TIP: (the foil needs more glue and gluing the gold frame directly on the foil could be visible on the gold paper - it would not be aesthetically pleasing, hence the fourth heart-shaped frame is between the foil and the gold paper)
- at the very end, glue the gold frame.
Shaker is ready.
Before you glue it to the card arrange a handful of sequins or other shaker filling on it.
Cover them with our heart.
It is the turn of the last element, which is the flower.
You can gently moisten the three forms of the flower with water (I soak my fingers and rub them into the paper), this will make them more willing to be molded.
You can mold them with your fingers or modeling tools (I used a pen tip on a piece of dish sponge at first). Glue them together in the middle place a rod, bead or some other decoration. Model the leaves, too, and glue the whole thing on a piece of paper.
Done.
Now just write a few words from the heart and Mom's emotion is guaranteed!
