This machine can engrave at an incredible speed – up to 4000 millimeters per second. Thanks to this, you can complete your projects very quickly. It is a modern and very versatile device.
Great for:
• people who already have experience with lasers,
• DIYers or enthusiasts who are passionate about creating things,
• small businesses who want to create custom products or decorate items.
In short, the xTool F1 is a fast, precise and easy-to-use laser engraving machine that offers many creative possibilities.
The most important information about xTool F1
Speed of action thanks to the galvanometer system
xTool F1 has a special system built in, which comes from the industry – it is called a galvanometer. This is a technology that allows for very fast and precise control of the laser beam.
How does it work? Inside there are small mirrors that move very quickly and change the direction of the laser – horizontally (X axis) and vertically (Y axis). Thanks to this, the laser can "draw" on the surface at lightning speed.
Tests of processing different materials
Engraving the xTool logo on a sheet of paper took only 6 seconds.
Settings:
- Laser power: 100%
- Speed: 4000 mm per second (which is very fast!)
- Density: 100
- Laser type: 10W blue laser (wavelength: 455 nm)
This shows that the xTool F1 can complete projects even several times faster than traditional engravers.
Fast engraving of complex graphics – example
xTool F1 can engrave even complex graphics (e.g. detailed vector drawings) on paper very quickly.
Settings during the test:
Laser power: 100%
Speed: 4000 mm per second
Density: 100 (i.e. the laser works very precisely)
Laser used: blue, 10 watts (wavelength: 455 nm)
How fast does xTool F1 work in practice?
The same drawing that was tested:
Ordinary laser engravers (without galvanometer system) took more than 5 minutes to complete (exactly 5 minutes and 13 seconds).
xTool F1 did the same in just 4 seconds!
Example: Vector graphic engraving
This test used a complex drawing – a graphic with many fine lines.
Settings:
Power: 100%
Speed: 4000 mm/s
Density: 100 Blue laser 10 W (455 nm)
Result: xTool F1 completed the entire engraving in 24 seconds.
Despite the complex drawing, every line and detail was very clear and precise.
Two lasers in one device: infrared and blue
xTool F1 is the first engraving machine in the world that has two different lasers in one machine:
Blue Laser 10W (455nm) - great for engraving and cutting materials such as wood, leather, paper and some plastics.
Infrared Laser 2W (1064nm) - works perfectly on metals and materials that do not react to regular laser light.
Why is it important?
Typically, you need to buy two separate devices to be able to engrave different materials. The xTool F1 combines both lasers into one machine, giving you more options and saving you space and money.
Example of engraving on wood:
Settings:
- Power: 100%
- Speed: 300 mm/s
- Density: 100
- Laser used: 10W blueResult: The engraved outline on the wood came out clean, clear and precise, which shows how well this laser works with natural materials.
Leather engraving – what does it look like in practice?
xTool F1 also does a great job of engraving leather – for example, on wallets, belts, key rings or notebook covers.
Settings used during the test:
- Laser power: 80%
- Dot duration: 200 microseconds (i.e. how long the laser works in one place – short but precise)
- Density: 100 (the higher, the more detailed the image)
- DPI: 500 (number of dots per inch – this means very high quality)
- Laser: blue, 10 W, 455 nmTest result: The image engraved on the leather was accurate and aesthetic, i.e. it looked nice, detailed and clean – without burns or blurred lines.
Engraving on stone coasters – elegant effect
xTool F1 can also engrave on stone, for example on coasters.
Settings used in the test:
- Laser power: 100%
- Speed: 300 mm/s
- Density: 100
- Laser: blue, 10 W, 455 nm
Test result:
The patterns engraved on the stone looked elegant and professional.
This is a great idea if you want to make personalized coasters – for example with a company logo, graphics, name or something else you want to put.
Engraving on stainless steel – durable and elegant effects xTool F1 can also engrave on metal, specifically stainless steel – a hard and durable material used to make pendants, key rings or nameplates.
Settings used in the test:
- Laser power: 100%
- Speed: 50 mm/s (slower, because metal is harder)
- Laser used: infrared, 2 W, 1064 nm (ideal for metal)
Test result:The patterns engraved on the steel were precise and durable.
This is a great solution if you want to create, for example:
- name pendants,
- dog and cat address tags,
- key rings with a company logo or a special inscription.
Engraving on copper sheet – for jewelry and souvenirs
xTool F1 can also engrave on copper, a precious metal that looks elegant and is often used in jewelry and decorations.
Important information:
- The copper sheet is not included in the set, so you have to buy it separately.
Settings used in the test:
- Laser power: 100%
- Speed: 100 mm/s
- Density: 100
- Laser: infrared, 2 W, 1064 nm (best for metals)

Thanks to this, you can create: unique jewelry, souvenirs with engraving, elegant key rings, plates or decorative elements made of metal.
Laser cutting – xTool F1 can not only engrave, but also cut
The xTool F1 has a 10 W blue laser, which is powerful enough to cut some materials, not just engrave them.
Example: Cutting lime wood (6 mm thick)
Settings:
- Power: 100%
- Speed: 2 mm/s (slowly, so that the laser cuts the material well)
- Number of passes: 1 (i.e. it was enough to “pass” the laser once)
- Laser used: blue, 10 W, 455 nmTest result:
- The laser cut a 6 mm thick lime wood board in one go.
xTool F1 works with LightBurn software
xTool F1 can be easily controlled and designed by LightBurn software, which is very popular and convenient.
What does this mean?
You have a choice – you can use the free XCS program that comes with the device, or

Easy to focus
xTool F1 has two options to help you focus the laser quickly and accurately:
Automatic focus: In the XCS program, you enter the material thickness and the laser will automatically raise and focus – without any additional work on your part.
Manual focus: If you prefer to focus yourself, just turn the special knob. When the blue and red light dots overlap perfectly, the focus is set correctly.
Fast and accurate engraving positioning
The laser moves very quickly (up to 10,000 mm/s) to precisely determine where it will engrave.
You can see a preview in the form of a square frame that shows what size and exactly where the engraving will be.
You can also see a preview of the shape of the engraved pattern (vector graphic outlines) and see a simulation of how the engraving will work in real time.
This ensures that your design will be exactly where you want it and at the right size.
