What is the Glue Quill tool?

This is undoubtedly one of the most impressive plotter accessories created by We R Memory Keepers. It allows you to create any glitter patterns on the surface of paper using popular hobby plotters: Silhouette, Cricut, Brother and Sizzix.

In practice, the tool is a pen filled with a special glue. When you buy the set, you will also receive for it 4 adapters for We R markers and 6 containers of very fine glitter.

How to use the glitter tool?

To start, choose an adapter that fits your plotter and place the marker in it.
Before using it for the first time, it is a good idea to spread the marker on a piece of paper.
Then insert the marker with the adapter into the plotter holder.
In the plotter's software, design any pattern and send it to the device. Patterns adapted to the sketch will work perfectly.
When the plotter is finished, unload the mat and remove the card from the plotter so as not to soil the mat with glitter.
Sprinkle the entire design with glitter, then skim off the excessive amount.
Allow the glue to dry. You can also heat it up with a heat gun to increase the durability of the design.

Our opinion

After a few hours of playing with Glue Quill and Cameo 4, we bring you our opinions and advice.

Placement in the plotter - the marker also fits in the Silhouette marker holder. Once placed in the device, it does not dry out or drip glue between cuts.
Doesn't smear while sketching - even though the metal springs on the plotter rollers moved repeatedly the glue didn't smear which we consider a big plus! The glue spread perfectly over the paper and no glue threads formed anywhere.
Glitter coating - the moment we were most afraid of, but the device managed to surprise us. The glue is perfectly covered with glitter and there are no white spaces.
Durability - the glitter adheres perfectly to the paper even in the upright position. Unfortunately, when rubbed harder, some of the glitter falls off.
