3 ideas for Grandparents' Day
With a plotter you can create a lot of interesting designs, so it can be the backbone of a small business and cut designs commissioned by customers. However, it is worthwhile, being in possession of this type of machine, to make something for yourself or your loved ones from time to time. Today, as an example, we will use three interesting designs especially for Grandma and Grandpa's Day.

1. Paper flower vase
A bouquet of cut flowers wilts too quickly and loses its charm? Grandma forgot last year's gift of a live plant and the plant simply withered? It seems that a paper flower vase will work perfectly, and made by beloved grandchildren will please not only the eyes, but also the hearts of Grandparents for a long time.
Making this 3D project is not difficult at all. You can download the pattern on the cutting-space.com platform, and then choose sheets of paper in your favorite colors. It is important that it is a paper weight of about 250g, so that the vase will be stable and keep its shape.
After cutting out the individual pieces, connect them with glue. First we glue together three parts of the vase each, which will give us two halves. Then we glue the flowers on the stem, which we paste between the resulting parts of the vase.
All that's left to do is to glue a stand to the bottom of the vase and the gift for grandparents is ready. It can also be used for an exploding box, or to complement a larger gift. These frost- and drought-resistant flowers will be an original and long-lasting decoration.
2. Gift certificate envelope for Grandpa
Ideas for Grandparents' Day can be quite a challenge for adult grandchildren as well. In such a situation, the choice often falls on a gift certificate for a massage, dinner or other attractions. If we have already made the purchase, it is worth taking care of the appropriate packaging of the gift. For example, an envelope for the gift certificate with an openwork inscription, which we will cut out with the help of a plotter.
The envelope template for a gift certificate can be found online in .svg format. This will save you the time needed to create the design yourself, although of course you can try your hand at a graphics program and plan your own design.
My envelope was cut from eco paper, but you can use paper of any color to make it. The important thing is that the weight should be 160g or more. This will make the envelope sturdy. After cutting it out, it remains to fold the envelope along the dotted line and stick it together using glue or adhesive tape.
3. A card for Grandma
Inherent in all kinds of celebrations are commemorative cards. Most often store-bought have many variations available, but nothing prevents you from trying your hand and creating an original card using a plotter.
You can design the design yourself or download it from the platform with ready-made designs. You can choose the colors of the card according to your preferences.
To make a card, it is best to use paper with a weight of about 250g. The cut out elements should be joined together. For this you can use glue, adhesive tape or foam tape, which will allow you to achieve a three-dimensional effect. All that remains is to write out the card, which is sure to delight Grandma or Grandpa on this special day.
I hope these three original ideas for Grandma and Grandpa's Day will work well as gifts and inspire you to create your own. All you need is a little creativity and time to complete your own project and delight your loved ones. A handmade gift will gain in value and become a beautiful keepsake!
