Hot gilding versus pressure gilding

Hot stamping technology allows for decoration on a wider range of materials-from paper and leather to acrylic and wood-offering durable, smooth, and even results. Traditional pressure-based gilding only works on paper, leather, and cardboard, and its effects are less resistant to damage and may wear off over time.

This photo shows the difference in the quality of the gilding. Hot stamping provides a more intense shine and perfectly defined lines that don't smudge, even with the finest details. Compared to the pressure method, hot stamping results are more precise, clean, and even.

Three tips, complete creative freedom

The set includes three replaceable tips:

• 0.5 mm - thin: ideal for precise, small patterns and delicate decorations, e.g. decorative initials
• 1.5 mm - standard: universal tip for everyday gilding, ideal for letters and small graphics
• 2.5 mm - thick: perfect for larger surfaces and uniform fillings when you want to achieve a bold, full effect
