The foil has a backing so you can cut it without using a mat. Just place the foil on the plotter rollers and then load it like a mat. The width of the foil is adapted to Portriat plotters, but after moving the rollers, you can also cut it without a mat on Cameo, Cameo Plus and Cameo Pro plotters.

If your plotter does not have the option of spacing the rolls to the given dimensions, you can also cut the foil on a mat. Thanks to this, you can also use the foil with Cricut and Brother plotters.
