Press capabilities

Cricut Heat Press is an excellent press designed for creating designs on caps and hats. See its capabilities and discover how you can use it in your workshop or business.

Curved heating plate

The press features a curved ceramic heating plate measuring 5 inches x 3 inches (12.7 cm x 7.6 cm). Thanks to this design, it fits perfectly to the shape of a cap, ensuring even transfer of the foil into the fabric. The heating plate provides 3 heat levels up to 205ºC.

Pressing form

The press comes with a dedicated form that acts as a base during the transfer process. It creates a firm surface pressed against the shapes and the press, allowing the foil to be perfectly fused with the fabric. The shape and size of the form have been designed to fit most hats and caps.

Easy operation

With the Cricut Heat app you can easily select and send precise time and temperature settings directly to the press. The app also includes step-by-step instructions to help you create heat transfers. You can connect to the press using Bluetooth.

For many decoration techniques

The press can apply most major brands of heat transfer products (flex and flock foils), Infusible Ink and materials dedicated to sublimation. This makes it a perfect addition to a cutting plotter or a sublimation printer.

If your device is not on the list above, you can leave a note with your order – we will activate it for you (you will be able to use the press without the Cricut Heat application).

How to activate Cricut EasyPress 3

• Download the Cricut Heat app from the App Store or Google Play and log in.
  If you already have a Cricut.com/Design Space account, we recommend logging in using the same credentials.
• Unpack the press and make sure all other items have been removed from the packaging.
• Plug the press into a wall outlet and turn it on by pressing the power button.
• When you turn the press on for the first time, you will notice the flashing APP message on the display. This means the press needs to be connected to the Cricut Heat app to activate and register the device. This is required for the press to function properly.
• Cricut EasyPress 3 uses Bluetooth Lite technology to pair with your iOS or Android device and communicate with the Cricut Heat app.
• Turn on the press within 2 meters of the device you are using, making sure Bluetooth is turned ON. It will connect automatically.
  In the Cricut Heat app, select Set Up to begin device activation. Choose your press model from the list and tap Connect.
• The Cricut Heat app will display the message “Connecting to EasyPress 3” with the Bluetooth logo.
• The app will ask you to confirm activation of your Cricut EasyPress 3 and will display the email address to which the device will be registered. Check the box to accept the Cricut Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and tap Activate.
• Cricut Heat will show a progress bar while activating the Cricut EasyPress 3.
  Once completed, you will see the message: Success! indicating the press is set up and ready to use.
• Cricut EasyPress 3 will start heating up and can be used with the Cricut Heat app or independently.
