Silhouette AutoBlade (Type A) - Portrait 2/Cameo 3

The Silhouette automatic blade for older models allows for easy and quick cutting using Cameo 3 and Portrait 2 plotters. It has a 10-step scale adjusted automatically after entering the appropriate value in the program.

Due to the fact that it is an automatic blade, plotter users do not have to manually change the cutting level depending on the material being processed. The Silhouette automatic blade for older models is the first generation of the blade. Using an automatic blade will make working with the equipment more efficient.

Compared to the new generation blades, it has a smaller cap circumference, adapted to the Cameo 3 and Portrait 2 models. The automatic blade for the Cameo plotter can only be used in plotters that are compatible with this type of blade. Before purchasing, it is worth checking whether a given plotter is compatible with an automatic blade.

The Kraft Blade is used to cut thicker materials up to 2/3 mm thick. It has a different cutting angle and a longer blade.

When to purchase a new cutting blade:

- When the cut is imprecise and jagged.
- When there is a need to significantly increase the pressure and extension compared to the settings we used at the beginning of using the blade.
- When the blade has been mechanically damaged. The frequency of blade replacement depends on the intensity of use of the plotter and the type of materials being cut.
