The main purpose of the mat is to cut out patterns from many different materials. It holds the material still while the plotter is operating when using media that does not have its own backing. In the case of foil with a backing, the mat will also allow you to cut from non-standard sheets. Thanks to this, you can use even small pieces of foil, and thanks to the built-in scanner, positioning the pattern will be easy and precise. The mat also allows scanning with a plotter. Thanks to this, you can easily cut patterns printed on the material along the contour!

Brother SDX Standard Tack Cutting Mat is suitable for most works with a plotter: cutting medium-thickness paper or creative materials.

Glue strength

The mat has standard adhesive strength.Used for cutting materials with a thickness of 0.2 mm to 1.5 mm, such as paper (200 - 280 g), medium thickness cardboard (0.35 mm), PP foil, vinyl foil, magnetic foil, balsa wood (up to 1.5 mm), foam (up to 1.5mm) or gel sheets (up to 1.5mm).
