The foil has a transparent backing, so you can cut it without using a cutting mat, if the spacing of your plotter's rollers allows it. To cut without a mat, put the foil on the plotter rollers, and then load it similarly to the mat.

The width of the foil is adapted to the Cameo 4 plotter, but you can also cut it without a mat using the Cameo 4 Plus and Cameo 4 Pro. In these cases, it is necessary to move the plotter rollers to a smaller pitch.

You can cut the foil using other manufacturers plotters by placing foil fragments on the mat or by cutting its width to the plotter's roller spacing.

To permanently apply the foil to the selected fabric, it must be heated into the surface of the material. You can use an iron selecting medium heat or the "cotton" setting, or a dedicated heat press selecting the temperature in accordance to the data in the product specification. Finished projects look very original and elegant.
