Cricut plotter blades are essential accessories that enable precise cutting of various types of materials. There are three main types of Cricut blades: Fine-Point, Deep-Point and Rotary Blade.

  • Fine-Point Blade: This is a standard blade that is used for most applications. It is suitable for cutting paper, cardboard, vinyl, foil and many other materials. Thanks to its versatility, it is a basic blade for many projects.
  • Deep cut Blade: The deep-cutting blade is more durable and designed to cut tougher materials such as thicker paper, leather and felt. Thanks to its greater strength and longer tip, it can cope with thicker materials.
  • Rotary Blade: The Rotary Blade is specially designed for precise cutting of fabrics. It can be used for a variety of fabrics including cotton, silk, flannel and many more. The blade rotates as it travels along the material for excellent cutting results.

To use Cricut blades, you must first select the appropriate blade based on the type of material you want to cut. Then insert them into the plotter according to the manufacturer's instructions. When setting cutting parameters in Cricut, you must select the appropriate blade type to ensure an accurate and efficient cut. After cutting, remove the blade from the plotter and store it in a safe place. It's also a good idea to check the condition of the blade regularly and replace it if necessary to get the best cutting results.
