How to download a font?

In graphic programs that support cutting plotters ie: Silhouette Studio, Cricut Design Space or Brother Canvas Workspace you can see all the fonts installed on your computer, if you want to use a wider font database install the fonts on disk and use them while working with your cutting plotter.

WHERE TO FIND FONTS

You can download new fonts from many websites, some of the most popular font databases include:

https://www.fontsquirrel.com/

Fonts can also be purchased on sites such as Designboundle.com or Etsy.com.

INSTALLATION

1. Download the file from the site of your choice.

2. Go to the downloaded folder and find the downloaded file.

3. To extract the font file you can use the programs:
https://7-zip.org/ or https://www.win-rar.com

Click on the downloaded file with the right mouse button and from the list choose the program and the option EXPLAIN FILES.

4. An unzipped folder with the font appears in the folder.

5. After opening it, you see the downloaded fonts and a text file in the notepad where you can read the license of use of the downloaded font.

Select the font file and right-click on it, then select INSTALL FOR ALL USERS.

And there you go, the font has been installed on your computer, when you run a program ie: Word, Silhouette Studio, Cricut Design Space, Inkscape or Brother Canvas Workspace it will be visible in the font list.

The important thing is that during the installation, the graphics programs should be closed or you should restart them after the font installation is complete.
