Description
The Silhouette Curio platform allows you to cut and emboss using this unique plotter. The platforms are available in two sizes: A5 and A4. The sizes of the mats are adapted to the size of the platform.
Thicker materials in Silhouette Curio
The Silhouette Curio plotter can cut soft materials up to 2mm thick, such as foam or foamiran, using a 2mm KraftBlade blade. However,
you can also place materials up to 5 mm thick, such as a thin board,
metal plate or canvas, and make a sketch, gilding, engraving or
stippling on them. The
Silhouette Curio Base Kit has 3 platforms included in the set, the
appropriate number of which should be removed when placing thicker media
in the plotter. Then, after adjusting the height, place a cutting mat on the pads to hold the material still while you sketch.
When you are done using the sketch option on thicker materials, remember to apply all the platforms.
