Description

We R Foil Quill - Gilding Kit allows you to make unique decorations using a Silhouette, Brother or Sizzix cutting plotter. Thanks to this, you can make decorative letters, inscriptions, shapes, ornaments and much more. Gold-plated elements will give your projects a unique character, and thanks to making them using a plotter, the effects will have an exceptionally aesthetic and professional look.

The set includes three gilding tips: a narrow one with a thickness of 0.5 mm, a standard one with a thickness of 1.5 mm and a wide one with a thickness of 2.5 mm. This will allow you to make a variety of decorations. Using a narrow tip will not cause any problems with delicate and thin fonts. It can also be used to create background elements for stationery or cards, thanks to its thin lines that do not completely dominate the entire design. The standard tip will allow you to embellish inscriptions, ornaments or shapes, and the wide tip will be perfect for elements that are to be the center of the design, such as headings, thicker letters or shapes that require filling.

Adapters for Silhouette, Brother and Sizzix plotters allow you to use tips with models of these manufacturers.

Due to the manufacturer's update, We R sets are not recommended for Cricut plotters due to the inability to adjust the pressure force.

When working with the Silhouette Cameo 4 and Silhouette Portrait 3 plotters, use the adapter included in the We R set and an additional blue adapter included with the Silhouette plotter.

For the new generation Silhouette Cameo 5, Curio 2 and Portrait 4 plotters, an adapter kit must be purchased separately.

Foil samples in gold, silver and rose gold will allow you to perform the first tests. Each sheet measures 15 x 15 cm. The foils should be placed on the surface of the sheet you want to decorate using the masking tape included in the kit, or magnetic strips if you have a We R Foil Quill magnetic mat (sold separately).

The set also includes a protective plate to protect the housing from high temperatures when heating the tool tip. It should be removed just before placing the mat in the plotter rolls and starting gilding.
