Sawgrass SG500 Sublimation Printer

The Sawgrass Virtuoso SG500 printer is the first desktop device adapted to sublimation printing. It is a fully integrated solution structurally adapted to this technology. The new SG500 model features a number of improvements, including: WiFi connectivity, an energy-saving system and an even higher print resolution. The printer also uses less ink than its predecessor.

Sawgrass SG500 features

The Sawgrass Virtuoso SG500 printer allows you to print using gel sublimation inks. This is a new generation device ensuring the highest print quality at a resolution of up to 4880 x 1200 dpi. Thanks to sublimation, you can make prints on T-shirts, bags or pillows, among others. You can also decorate mugs, key rings, phone cases and many others using this technique. Simply print your chosen pattern on dedicated paper. Then apply it to the target surface and heat it using a heat press.

Dedicated solution

Virtuoso printers have been designed specifically for sublimation printing. This is a dedicated application unlike many printers on the market that are customized for sublimation. This ensures much greater comfort of work and reliability of the device. A special cleaning system prevents the Sawgrass Virtuoso SG500 printer nozzle from clogging. Printing is done using dedicated SubliJet-UHD gel ink.

Alternatively, you can use any graphics program of your choice, including:

• Adobe PhotoShop CS – CS6, Elements 8 – 15 (Windows) i 8–10 & 15 (Mac)
• Adobe Illustrator CS – CS6
• CorelDRAW 12 – 2019 (Windows)
• Adobe Creative Cloud (“CC”)

In this case, it is necessary to install a special driver provided by Sawgrass.

When using other software, results may vary.
