The printer is designed to create prints intended for decorating polyester surfaces using the sublimation method. This is a method that allows you to achieve exceptionally durable decorations on the surfaces of polyester fabrics, such as T-shirts and bags, or other items covered with a polyester coating, including cups, thermoses or key rings. The print made in a mirror image should be placed on the selected item and then attached with thermal tape. Then the prepared product should be placed in an appropriate press. After consolidating the design, we obtain a design that is completely resistant to high temperatures or detergents, so clothes made in this way can be safely washed at higher temperatures and mugs can be washed in the dishwasher.

The Sawgrass Virtuoso SG1000 printer allows you to print using gel sublimation inks. This is a new generation device ensuring the highest print quality at a resolution of up to 4880 x 1200 dpi. Thanks to sublimation, you can make prints on T-shirts, bags or pillows, among others. You can also decorate mugs, key rings, phone cases and many others using this technique. Simply print your chosen pattern on dedicated paper. Then apply it to the target surface and heat it using a heat press.
