Cricut heat presses
Quite recently we have been creating an iron-on garment print together. It may have encouraged you to try this technique and create your own designs. Flex foil iron-on can be indented with an iron, but using a dedicated press will definitely make the job easier and safer.
2/27/2024
This is mainly due to the fact that our home irons rarely have a function to indicate the exact temperature, and the foils require setting the appropriate parameters. In addition, the iron-on designs are best to be indented on the entire surface at once. This means that while the iron can handle smaller pieces, larger designs may be fixed unevenly, resulting in peeling, peeling and falling off the iron-on fabric. That's why dedicated Cricut iron-on presses were created for creating iron-on designs in several sizes and for different purposes.
It should be mentioned that the new-generation presses require activation through the Cricut Heat app to run. It works with selected Samsung, LG, Motorola, Google, iPad and iPhone devices, a full list of which can be found in the product descriptions in our store. If you do not have any of the required devices, nothing lost yet. Just let us know in the order note and we will remotely activate the press for you. Admittedly, you won't be able to use the app, but you will be able to set the temperature and heat-in time using the buttons on the device. In our offer you will find five models of Cricut heat presses for different applications.
Cricut EasyPress 3 – 30x25cm
The 30 x 25cm EasyPress 3 will work well for indenting larger designs on T-shirts, pants, bags or pillowcases. It will also allow you to fix many smaller items at once. The press heats up to a maximum of 205°C, and you can precisely set the temperature and indentation time using the app or buttons on the device.
Cricut EasyPress 3 – 22x22cm
This is a smaller counterpart to the EasyPress 3 work mentioned early on. Its surface is 22 x 22cm. With its help you can easily indent slightly smaller designs, for example, on bags or children's clothes. Setting the temperature and heating time is identical to the larger press - it's done from the app or manually using the buttons on the device.
Cricut EasyPress Mini
This small device is available in two colors - blue and raspberry. It is ideal for indenting small designs on small surfaces. You will decorate shoes, scarves, T-shirts, small bags and much more with its help. The press has a three-stage temperature control. For delicate and sensitive materials - 125°C-145°C; for standard materials and flex film 150°C-180°C; for Cricut Infusible Ink film and durable base materials: 185°C-205°C.
Cricut Hat Press
This is a dedicated press for decorating hats, caps and other items with a rounded shape. It is characterized by a rounded heating plate, and the press comes with not only a safety base, but also a special round mold on which to place an object, such as a hat (the mold filling contains walnut shells). The Cricut Hat Press, like the EasyPress Mini, has a three-stage temperature control.
Cricut Mug Press
This is great if you want to try decorating mugs using sublimation. After printing the design on dedicated paper with a sublimation printer, such as the Sawgrass SG500, simply place it on a mug suitable for decorating with this technique, and place the whole thing in the press. The mug should have straight walls so that the press adheres evenly to its surface. Once the indentation process is complete, remove the mug from the press and wait about 15 minutes for it to cool down, then remove the paper from it and you're done!
As for Cricut presses for hobby use, I think there is something for everyone in our store. If you like decorating products with heat transfer film, this type of device will certainly make your work easier and faster.
