Cricut Infusible Ink - Mermaid Rainbow

Get professional, personalized graphics on T-shirts, bags or mugs with Infusible Ink sheets. Cut out any shapes, patterns and inscriptions and iron them on a selected surface adapted to the sublimation method. Using Infusible Ink technology is significantly different from creating iron-on transfers with thermal transfer foils (flex or flock). Typical foils create a new layer on the fabric surface. Infusible Ink melts into the fabric or object when ironed on, coloring it. It is a technique similar to sublimation, which allows the material to be completely combined with the ink. If you want sharp, vibrant colors that will never crack or peel, Infusible Ink products are the perfect choice. Transfers made using this technique are really durable and retain beautiful colors for a long time. However, in case of decorating dark fabrics or fabrics made of 100% cotton, Infusible Ink will not work - in such a case, the use of flex foil will be appropriate.

Infusible Ink – how to use:

Pattern
Design a mirror image pattern in the cutting plotter program, then cut out the design from the Infusible Ink sheet placed on the mat.

Materials
Infusible Ink sheets should be ironed on dedicated Cricut materials to obtain the best effect and vivid and pure colors. You can also use fabrics and items adapted for sublimation (the manufacturer reserves that the colors may differ slightly on the materials).

Iron-on
Place the sheets on the target surface with the colored surface side down. Then, to transfer the color to the surface, use an EasyPress, EasyPress Mini, MugPress or other press that reaches a temperature of 205°C.
