Brother SDX1200 - Refurbished - This demo unit is in perfect visual and technical condition. The plotter shows no signs of use. The SDX1200 is an advanced cutting plotter with a built-in scanner, allowing for cutting and designing without the need for a computer. Automatic knife setting

The main difference between the new models and the previous CM series is the elimination of the need to manually adjust the feed length and knife pressure. The Brother SDX1200 does this for you. This automates a function that was most problematic for users of older plotters to configure. The introduction of new solutions also allows for a 50% increase in the maximum thickness of cut materials. The plotter can easily cut even thick, 3-millimeter felts used in embroidery applications.

Foil cutting

A new feature is the introduction of a half-cut function, which allows manual selection of the knife cutting depth (although the default setting for this function is half) for materials with a backing. Vinyl, flex, or flock films will not be cut through this way.

Cutting without mat

Another new feature introduced by the ScanNCut models is the ability to cut from a roll, without the need for an adhesive mat. This allows you to cut materials up to 178 cm long and 25 cm wide (available only with the film feeder, sold separately).

Scaner

The built-in scanner has also been changed - now with a scanning resolution of 600 dpi (compared to 300 dpi in the previous series) - which makes it easier to scan very small elements or fine lines.

Users who don't need or find it difficult to use these programs can draw their chosen pattern on a piece of paper, and the plotter, thanks to the built-in scanner, will recognize and cut the drawn shape. Operation via the touchscreen and Canvas Space is available in English.

Principle of operation:
