1 First, we upload the project to the DESIGN SPACE workspace. To do this, we select UPLOAD from the left menu, then click UPLOAD IMAGE.
2. In the next step, select the file from the disk and transfer it to the workspace using the UPLOAD button, then INSERT IMAGES.
3. in the next step, we need to ungroup the project by pressing UNGROUP.
4 From the list on the right, we select the design element that is the front of the cover. By clicking the ATTACH button, we merge the cover with the cut lines so that the plotter cuts them within one object.
5.Using the TEXT icon, we create a caption, select the preferred font from the list and type the text into the text box. Using the slider, we adjust the size of the text to the banner template that will be part of the card.
6. select the text and the banner and click the FLATTEN button to convert the object as a printable item.
7. proceed to cut out the design by pressing MAKE IT.
Tip!
Remove small and openwork pieces from the mat with a spatula to avoid damaging their delicate structure.
SHADOW BOX - ASSEMBLING
Here are our cut out elements.
Now we can proceed to fold the card.
1. We glue the openwork chalice and banner with 3D cubes. Glue the openwork on the card with the chalice.
2. On the front of the cover and on the inner card with a circle glue the leaves. The order and size does not matter, make your own composition of them.
3. We proceed to prepare the flowers. We bend the petals inward, and then twist each one with a stick. In the center of the flower we glue a rhinestone or half pearl.
4. In the next step we glue our flowers on the branches, here again there is full freedom of composition. At this stage we can also put a banner on the front of the cover.
5. Bend the cover in the place of cuts. Slide the finished cards into the cut holes on the sides of the cover.
6. Our card is almost ready. We glue the background from the inside. Note that the background is a rectangle, pay attention when gluing so that the edges of the background and the cover match.
7. On the back we glue the back of the cover, here again we must pay attention that the lengths of the edges match. This will be a good place to put personalized wishes.
This is how the finished First Communion souvenir looks like.
